- The NEWEST Netscape DOES work in B&W mode! Well I know the 2.0 Beta's were
- working for Sure in B&W mode, I think when my brother was over and complaning
- about the Speed of Shapeshifter in 16 color mode(He has a PowerMAC) He
- rebooted in B&W mode and used Shpaeshifter in that as it a whole lot faster
- that way. The only bad part being it can be quite hard to read the screen
- with background pictures! I'll try again later to make sure, but I'm pretty
- sure it does. You also Don't need to be registered to have color support!
- I'm a registered user myself though, I have one of the lower numbers. Have
- been a registered user for quite some time now. Well worth the $40US that I
- payed. As for 500 Megs of HD space. RIght now I only have a 80 Meg
- partitions and thats more then enough for me. I run only a few things right
- now. Netscape being one of them, along with RealAudio which if anyone didn't
- know there's versions to support at least the 030's/040's SO Did mac's ever
- have 060's? probley works also. I've used RealAudio 2.0 on my 030/50Mzh
- processor a few times now.
